A Peko Vision where financial services are available for big transactions and microtransactions; both are equally important!
Imagine that there is no minimum payment for something to hold value; sometimes the payment rendered should be a few cents or maybe even less than 1 cent. While this may seem odd (because current financial infrastructure doesn’t allow it), it enables us to build business models based on volume and each instance of value vs one bigger transaction.
Crypto enables microtransactions as part of its very infrastructure; some blockchains encourage the smallest transactions as a core feature.
Why Crypto Enables Microtransactions

Scaleable
Many blockchains have determined how to scale their blockchains into an affordable way to instantly transfer fractional monetary amounts

Automated or Manual
Microtransactions can be programmed based on activity or be easily made manual when users want to transact
Who Claims to Solve This Crypto Use Case?*
- Blockchains have been competing on various speed and scaleability measures. Some that score well – Solana, The Open Network, Aleph Zero, Sui, Sei. With increasing adoption, it will be interesting to see how they truly scale.
