A Peko Vision where people use pseudonymity tech to express themselves in digital spaces without fear of identification or reprisal
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have more than 20% living in a free society? While a pseudonymous identity won’t solve for free elections, government corruption, or local rights abuses, it can solve for comparable freedom in digital spaces.
Imagine a world where you were free to express yourself how you choose.
You can access anything your fellow digital citizens can.
Where your online activity, data, and profiles cannot be tied to your physical being.
Nobody can “discipline” you because of your perspectives, online activity, or associations.
Imagine you just want to be private; nothing malicious but have very justifiable preferences for being anonymous.
Crypto provides that potential.
Why Crypto Helps Pseudonymity

Identity Building
Decentralizing identity to a single private key allows crypto and blockchain users to generate an identity free from corrupt or malicious government controls

Cross-platform Identity
Pseudonymous identities can be managed across multiple platforms enabling integration and reputation/credential carry over, asset transfer, and more
Who Claims to Solve This Crypto Use Case?*
- Almost all coins are pseudonymous in that you have an address and not your name representing your on-chain transactions
- Privacy coins (e.g. Monero, ZCash, and a growing list) make transactions more anonymous and less traceable. Note that law enforcement in different jurisdictions have differing views on the allowability of such capabilities.
- We haven’t seen much in crypto that enables non-financial but pseudonymous use cases. This is a definite opportunity!
- With that said, various ecosystems claiming to be developing decentralized identity solutions – Worldcoin, KILT Protocol, Civic, and cheqd are a few examples
